Systems Engineer


Our Partner is an Information Technology and Security Solutions company, providing comprehensive consulting and managed services to businesses of all sizes since 2007. The Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, testing, and deploying systems, networks, and solutions for small, medium, and enterprise clients. 


  • Design, scope, implement and manage computing systems that meet client business needs.
  • Assess, research and update network/computer systems for optimal performance.
  • Provide consulting services as required for client/engineering engagements.
  • Ability to take charge of system/solution upgrade, migration, and implementation teams.
  • Document all project tasks and procedures.
  • Research new technology, evaluate viability, and present to team/s for lab build/testing and client sales integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues, document, and present remediation options for review.
  • Maintain project timelines, budgets, and expectations.
  • Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding project roadblocks, timelines, or other issues, as they arise.
  • Participate in internal meetings and complete other duties as assigned.


  • BS/BA in an Information Technology field, or relevant certifications/experience
  • Previous experience designing and implementing Windows Server-based solutions 
  • Previous experience with Azure AD, Office 365, SharePoint Teams, Skype, and OneDrive
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy design, implementation, and testing
  • Strong networking skills – Firewalls / Security, switching, ISP setup, and debugging
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Able to work in and with a team or without oversight

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Exchange, PowerShell, and scripting
  • Familiarity with Virtualization (Cloud, Hyper-V, and VMWare)
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, PCI DSS, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, and EU General Data Protection Regulation Compliance
